Next to her design practice, she is also involved in event production, curation and writing. Recently, she has collaborated with Chevere, volunteered for Fiber Festival, helped host Radio Kutululu in Prague during the Design Department’s trip, and contributed to the Sandberg Design Department’s social media team. Last year, she initiated (non) verbal horizons, a workshop series at Sandberg exploring language with artists.

(non) verbal horizons is a workshop series that invites participants to collectively explore language and communication. It aims to address linguistic diversity by offering a series of interactive workshops that foster a deeper understanding of how we interact with language.together with Gersande Schellinx
During this workshop, participants spent an afternoon exploring constructed, fictional, and asemic languages, among others. There were talks about translation and working with language as a body of text, as well as activities designing personal visual languages. I invited Gersande Schellinx to talk about her work regarding intuitive translation.
